CELEBRATING 23 YEARS IN PORT DOUGLAS
23 years ago we arrived in the village of Port Douglas, on a glorious “winter”’s day, to establish a life here.
It’s another glorious day today, and the beauty and tranquillity of our surrounds is still there. There might be more accommodation and shops, new housing estates, but Port Douglas still has that certain something which draws and keeps people here, and those who depart to return. Lush tropical vegetation, sun and sand, clear air, no traffic congestion, relative security, these are some of the factors that make this a very special place.
