February In Port Douglas
Port Douglas revolves around tourism. And February is part of the tropical north Queensland wet season, although many days are like today, sunny, hot, humid with perhaps a heavy evening shower. Tourists can still enjoy the beauty of this area at this time of year, the glistening and growing rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef, the "green season" as it's sometimes marketed.
Many local businesses choose to close at this time of year, "go fishing", regroup, revivel
