You know in the Port Douglas area when summer is on the way when you see frangipani starting to bloom in gardens, and mango trees bearing fruit. With summer comes the wet season, although the rains are unpredictable and often at night, and gardens and the rainforest glisten.
There is, however, no significant “spring selling season” for real estate here, as there is in southern states. The attached graphs (courtesy of Pricefinder), show peak selling periods of Port Douglas houses and units over the past three years.
My experience is that there are always buyers out there, and that with targeted marketing, and great presentation of houses and units, sellers can achieve excellent results, no matter the time of year.
