Continuing Professional Development - Competed for 2024!
I may have been scrambling at the last moment, but I have completed the Real Estate Institute of Queensland's requirements for continuing professional development for this year.
I'm a firm believer in continuing education, including in a professional sphere, and particularly with the significant legislative changes that have occurred in Queensland this year, and which will continued to be implemented, it's important for real estate professionals to keep updated and informed.
As of the middle of 2025, CPD will be mandatory for Queensland real estate professionals and one must complete approved CPD training each CPD year to maintain one's licence or registration. My view is that this is an excellent move. Clients can be confident that the agent they are dealing with is up-to-date with process and requirements.
